Personal biography

Dr Siddharth Mehrotra is currently associated as chief gastrointestinal and hepato biliary surgeon at Siddh Hospital Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Dr Mehrotra has experience of more than 17 years. He is a graduate from B R D Medical College, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and a post graduate from very renowned Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. After completing the post graduation Dr Siddharth went on to do super specialization in Surgical Gastroenterology from prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi. He is trained in performing surgeries related to liver, stomach, pancreas that also includes one of the most complex Whipple’s Surgery for pancreas, liver resection, necrosectomy, surgery for portal hypertension etc. Dr Mehrotra is a trained liver transplant surgeon and has been part of more than 300 liver transplants at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Before joining Siddh Hospital Moradabad as Gastrointestinal and HPB surgeon Dr Siddharth Mehrotra was associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. At Ganga Ram Hospital he has been part of more than 300 liver transplants and some of the most complex gastrointestinal surgeries. Dr Mehrotra brings his vast experience to Siddh Hospital and has already performed some of the very challenging surgeries for esophageal cancer (cancer of food pipe), pancreatic tumours, repair of perforated CBD and many more with results which are comparable to some of the best centres not only in Uttar Pradesh but in India. Dr Mehrotra has to his credit multiple publications and has been invited as faculty at various national and international conferences.
